A. Create Teleport CT
- From the main Proxmox page, select
Create CT(the top right) to launch theCreate: LXC Containerdialog window. - Tick the
Advancedbox and then enter CT ID of122, set Hostname to<dc>-teleport, create a non-trivial password for userrootand save in your password manager under<dc> Teleportand optionally add your ssh public key. SelectNext. - Select the
ubuntu-22.04-standardtemplate. SelectNext. - Accept the default disk size. Select
Next. - Set cores to 4. Select Next.
- Set the Memory and Swap to
2048. SelectNext. - Set the Bridge to
vmbr1(LAN) - No changes are required for the
DNStab. SelectNext. - Tick the
Start after createdoption. SelectFinish. - When complete, close the dialog window.
- After the VM has started ensure that Proxmox has it set to “Start at boot.”
- Select the VM on the left navigation menu and then select
options. Double clickStart at Boot, and tick the box, and selectok. - Select Network from the left navigation menu and then
Add: - Name the interface
eth1, select Bridgevmbr2, untick theFirewall, Leave IPv4 toStaticand the IP information blank, and selectSLAACfor the IPv6 configuration. Select theAddbutton. - Open the
Consoletab from the left navigation menu and enterip address show eth1in the shell. (You may have to login into teleport again.) Capture the IPv6 address:
