A. Create Teleport CT
- From the main Proxmox page, select
Create CT
(the top right) to launch theCreate: LXC Container
dialog window. - Tick the
Advanced
box and then enter CT ID of122
, set Hostname to<dc>-teleport
, create a non-trivial password for userroot
and save in your password manager under<dc> Teleport
and optionally add your ssh public key. SelectNext
. - Select the
ubuntu-22.04-standard
template. SelectNext
. - Accept the default disk size. Select
Next
. - Set cores to 4. Select Next.
- Set the Memory and Swap to
2048
. SelectNext
. - Set the Bridge to
vmbr1
(LAN
) - No changes are required for the
DNS
tab. SelectNext
. - Tick the
Start after created
option. SelectFinish
. - When complete, close the dialog window.
- After the VM has started ensure that Proxmox has it set to “Start at boot.”
- Select the VM on the left navigation menu and then select
options

in the shell. (You may have to login into teleport again.) Capture the IPv6 address:
