Relations between instances of different state representation during batch processing (dashed arrows indicate entry points, bold arrows indicate injective functions, dotted arrows are used to indicate that there could be an arbitrary number of processing cycles, blue arrows indicate that this mapping only exists in the specification of message routing and/or the execution environment and the implementation needs to ensure consistency with the definitions of the arrows. Note: Batches are passed to the deterministic state machine by Consensus and are the same on each honest replica on the system.
