What are the Hardware Requirements to be a Node Provider?

Hardware requirements are specified for all nodes that were purchased prior to Genesis - these are 'Gen 1'.
Gen 2 hardware requirements are currently under discussion as they must be approved by the NNS.

Validated Configurations

DFINITY has validated the following Gen2 hardware configurations. Some exceed the minimum spec, but new node hardware purchased to use on the IC doesn't need to have such beefy specs. Machines which meet the minimum requirements are sufficient.

Validated configuration: ASUS

Note: SEV-SNP validation is still pending for the ASUS configuration.
